“The Boys of Summer,” is a nostalgic reference to both baseball and the passage of time.  In 1974 the Apple Valley Legion team included, Back Row – Al, Chris, Scott, Dale, Brad and Bruce, the Middle Row – Ed and Dave; and the Front Row – Rod, Ardell, Tom, Dave and Tim.  

This year, the Apple Valley 76ER Legion Baseball teams 

will play a full summer schedule, represent our community and our Post.  The ’74 squad wishes this year’s teams the best of luck and fond memories of your 2024 Season, “as time goes on, you’ll 

remember this summer as one of your best”.
